Sports have been a very important part of my life since I was little. I love the hard work and training that goes into accomplishing goals. Another passion of mine is nature, so to be able to combine the both is a wonderful bonus!

I moved to Connecticut to pursue Montessori (early childhood education) training. Upon completion, I opened my own Montessori school in 2012. Working with young kids taught me patience but more importantly it showed me the magical pride that comes along when a child finally accomplishes something. Being able to feel that myself through my own fitness training, is what got me hooked.

My dog Penny has been along for the entire journey! At the young age of 10, she helps keep me company on warm up runs and cool downs. She also really loves hiking. She's been a great running partner over the years but prefers the slower jogs these days.

I also love to travel and never say no to a good bluegrass concert or a large bowl of popcorn.
