Sierra Huber has been building public education music programs for 15 years. She started her journey by earning her Music Education degree from West Virginia University (Let's Go Mountaineers!) and is currently working on her Master's Degree in Leadership and Administration. While she has worked as an elementary music teacher for many years, she has now spent the last four years sharing her passion with middle school chorus and guitar students.

Before Sierra got involved with triathlon, she grew up swimming year-round, playing softball, and mountain biking with her father. After graduating from college, she moved to a tiny town in Virginia that hosted a sprint triathlon each summer. Having never heard of triathlon before and being inspired by all the athletes competing, she decided to give it a try! Five years later, Sierra completed her first Ironman distance triathlon! To say the least, she was and still is hooked!

Sierra is happily married to her best friend and raising two fur babies, Ellie and Gideon, almost three years old! Her favorite thing to do in her free time is to drink delicious coffee, eat at local food trucks and go walking in the woods with her husband and pups!
