Originally from Chicago transplanted to the East Coast over 20 years ago, I'm a father of three amazing kids (now older) and been doing government business for nearly 20 years. It's been a wild ride thus far in Triathlon. I started in 1993 doing my first triathlon at a race called Leons! (of course it was the National Amatuer Champs and Sister Madonna Buder blew by me on the run...), then a million races since then including 3 Ironman Races, a couple of Ultra's. I had a full hip replacement in 2014 and am making a comeback in 2021 to full fitness. I've done a few tris since Surgery but didn't have a coach until I hired Jon Fecik in the fall of 2020. So far so good. My times are starting to drop and I'm regaining my fitness and form. Outside of Triathlon, I'm an avid tennis player and sailor, as well I race Spec E46 BMW's throughout the Eastern seaboard. My family as a whole are very active and my wife and I try to get out a ride together as often as possible!
