FAVORITE RACE: I do not have a "favorite" race, because I have enjoyed each race for different reasons..
OCCUPATION: Mama, freelancer and student!
ACHIEVEMENTS: I swam across the Mackinaw Straits (in 2019) after only swimming for two years! Every race I have become quicker and more efficient in the art of knowing myself, my needs and what my limits are.
GOAL FOR SEASON: This year my biggest goals are to do my longest swim (eight plus miles around Mackinaw Island) and qualify for the Boston marathon!

PETS: Two German shepherds, Gabi and Gio. We just recently rescued Gio.

Hi, I am Jen! I am a wife and mom of three humans and two fur-children. I am an adventurer and free spirit. I love to explore new places, find new things in old places and remain very curious. I will try (almost) anything once and that is how I got into triathlons. Besides swimming, biking and running, I enjoy yummy food, writing, reading, photography and meeting new people. I am a big mental health and youth at risk (particularly foster kids) advocate. Currently, I do freelance work and just recently returned back to school!
