OCCUPATION: Machine Operator at Kimberly Clark .
ACHIEVEMENTS: I completed the World’s Toughest Mudder 24-hour race twice, finished two 100-milers, and ran my very first marathon, in 2012, for my mom, who was fighting cancer. It was the only race she would ever make it to. I was asked to be apart of the Aiello Inspiration team for 2017, and run the Hartford Marathon again. I’ve done it a total of 5 times now.
GOAL FOR SEASON: To do a triathlon (something I’ve never done)!
PETS: Several! 2 German Shepherds ( Jackson and Ava) 2 sugar gliders, 3 cats, a fish, and a turtle. My mother used to own a Pet store in New Milford, and my fiancé, Crystal, works for an animal shelter in our town.

My name is Allan Darrow! I’ve been running marathons and ultras for almost 9 years. I ran my first marathon in 2012 for my mom, who was fighting stage IV cancer at the time. This would be the only race she would ever make it to. Since then, I race for my health, adventure, and purpose. Running has been a critical outlet that has allowed me to grow, develop, motivate, endure, and persevere in every aspect of my life! I have three beautiful children, a supportive fiancé, and two energetic dogs, that help me reach my highest potential whenever I need a push! I am honored to have been chosen to represent a brand that truly looks out for our animals health, nutrition, and well being! I can’t wait to put the miles for that purpose, and motivate others along the way!
